Mel Blanc 1908-1989

Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Woody Woodpecker, Tweety Bird, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd, Speedy Gonzales-Mel Blanc brought all these classic characters to life during a six-decade career. Known as the Man of a Thousand Voices, Blanc worked with Warner Brothers Studio during the Golden Age of American animation in the 1930s, and later with Hanna-Barbera, where he introduced the world to Barney Rubble of The Flintstones. In a break with precedent, Blanc insisted on being credited for his voice work, which resulted in his receiving more work than many of his colleagues. His headstone carries the line "That's All, Folks," which Blanc immortalized by reciting after every Warner Brothers cartoon.
